Ladies, gentlemen, campers, I welcome you all to Smash Camp Casino. I know you all had a a bitter experience with SaltyBet despite your collective love for gambling. That's why I decided to open up the first fair casino for Smash Camp! Let me explain: Smash Camp Casino will be open 24/5 all of Smash Camp. You will all be aiming to collect chips to get a spot in the top 10 leaderboard. You will all start with 100 chips. From there, there will be two main ways to earn chips: challenging other campers or winning wagers hosted by the Casino. When I say you can challenge other campers that means (almost) anything. Whether it be dice rolls, a competitive Smash game, Japanese baseball scores, the sky is the limit! At least once a day we will also host events you can wager on against the casino. But wait, there's more! There are bonuses that will be awarded at the end of camp that will net you points for your cabin even if you aren't top 10 in the leaderboard. The people who succeed at this casino will be those who play the most, take the biggest swings, and have the most luck on their side!

Now, with an event like this there are rules you must follow:

DA RULEZ:
  • All camper start with 100 chips
  • 10 people will receive points at the end based on their final “chip” count (i.e. like golf with your friends scoring)
  • Chips can be earned from challenging other campers in different cabins or from bets/events hosted by leaders
  • Casino hosted event wagers will have their own limits specified per each event 
  • Casino hosted event wagers are FINAL once submitted, no changing
  • There will be restrictions for the percentage of chips a participant can bet based on the amount of successful challenges they have done. This is independent of bets/events hosted by leaders. 
    • 1st challenge: 10%
    • 2nd challenge: 20%
    • 3rd challenge: 30%
    • 4th challenge: 40%
    • 5th challenge: 50%
  • In the event someone has done more challenges than the person they are challenging, they are only able to bet the percentage based off how many challenges that person has done. (EX: person with 5 challenges done challenges someone who has only done 2. They may only bet up to 20%)
  • All challenges are “fair”, meaning both challengers put up the same amount and receive the total pot unless there is a draw (E.x you may NOT bet 10 chips while your opponent only bets 5)
  • Participants cannot challenge the same person twice in a row. Participants cannot challenge the same person more than twice in a day. Participants cannot challenge someone in their cabin.
  • Participants can only do 5 challenges a day. 
  • Even in the event that two participants may agree on a fair challenge, a leader reserves the right to deny or void said challenge. 
  • You may reveal your wagers for casino hosted wagers, publicly, but they will be hidden by default until we are no longer accepting new wagers. After this, they will be shown publicly like all other wagers.
  • Be mindful of your current pending wagers as they will be subtracted from your total until they are resolved
  • Challenges may be luck or skill based. This is for your enjoyment, find as many people as you can and challenge them to any luck or skill based game/event you can think of!
  • If it is determined any campers are fixing matches or colluding with other cabins, leaders have discretion to punish as they see fit
  • There will be bonus chips and points provided at the end of the week
  • Bonuses will be split if there is a tie
  • Official challenge results must be posted in #challenge-results, you may look for opponents in #casino-floor

1st place will be awarded 150 points
2nd place will be awarded 100 points
3rd place will be awarded 50 points
4th place will be awarded 40 points
5th place will be awarded 35 points
6th place will be awarded 30 points
7th place will be awarded 25 points
8th place will be awarded 20 points
9th place will be awarded 15 points
10th place will be awarded 10 points

  • Most Addicted (based on who bet the most total in challenges and non-challenges)
  • Most challenges won
  • Most unique people challenged
  • Biggest loss (based on who lost the most chips in a single wager on a non-challenge bet)
  • Fewest Chips (based on who got the lowest amount first if there is a tie)
